Conclusion of contract

By clicking on "Buy now", you are placing a binding order for the items in your shopping cart. Once you have submitted your order, we will immediately send you an e-mail confirmation of your order. A binding contract is formed when you receive the separated confirmation from us or when we send the books to you.

Price and Payment

All prices are in Euro (incl. the german VAT rate of 7%) and subject to change in accordance with exchange rate variations and / or price alterations implemented by publishers without previously announcing them.

Payments can be made by bank transfer or by credit card: VISA and Mastercard / Eurocard.

We are responsible for the selection of the payment methods available. In particular, we reserve the right to offer you only selected payment methods for payment, for example, to secure our credit risk, only advance payment.

Costs of delivery

The shipping costs for deliveries outside of Germany are determined by the weight of the goods. You can see an overview of this under the task “delivery information”.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods .
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Dagmar Blunck - Wissenschaftlicher Buchhandel - Scientific Books e.K., Inhaber : Viola Blunck Funke, Lichtestrasse 4, D - 24118 KIEL, E-Mail: info@blunck-medical-books.de, Fax: * 49 (0)431 69 10 748, Tel.: * 49 (0)431 69 10 747) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for a possible loss in value of the goods, if this loss of value is due to a handling that is not necessary for the examination of the nature, characteristics and functionality of the goods.

When books include PINs or CD-ROMs these cannot be returned once the panel of the PIN has been scratched off or the seal has been broken.

Voluntary right of return

In addition, we offer consumers and entrepreneurs a voluntary right of return. Books being supplied on approval can be returned within 30 days. As publishers do only accept perfect copies for credit please pack them adequately to avoid damages. The orginal invoice should be enclosed.

Legal warranty

The relevant statutory provisions govern our liability for defects.

Contract language is either German or English.

Link to the platform of the European Commission according to Regulation on consumer ODR. We are neither obligated nor willing to participate in a dispute settlement procedure at a consumer arbitration board.

If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, our place of business is the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with contracts between us and you.
